Laporta definitively buries the Montjuic animation stand to create a new one at Camp Nou

Javier Tebas also points out that "we have to change in order to be better" and that it is not up to him "to cut heads, but if the same team continues that does not see that changes need to be made...". On the other hand, he did not overlook Real Madrid 's statement on the League and the term 'adulterated', to which he said: "These are big words, that does a lot of damage."

Joan Laporta has decided to permanently close the Montjuic animation stand . The president of Barcelona has made this decision three months after the club announced on November 26 the decision to close it 'sine die' "due to the failure" of the different groups to comply with "the obligations assumed" with the Barcelona entity.

This drastic measure by the Barça president is due to "the repeated warnings" that the Blaugrana entity made to the different animation groups ( Almogàvers, Front 532, Nostra Ensenya and Supporters Barça ) for not paying on time the fines that Barça received for the behavior of said stands during last season.

The match against Rayo Vallecano was the ninth in Montjuic in which Barça did not have access to the cheering section. In previous matches, there were several requests for the space to be brought back. Against the Madrid team, they took the opportunity to display the sign: "Volem la grada d'animació" (We want the cheering section). They took it out in the 12th minute, symbolically representing the '12th player' , and it was only up for about four minutes. This Tuesday against Atlético de Madrid , the tenth match will be played without the most noisy group of fans in the stadium.

Likewise, the definitive closure of the aforementioned stand also has to do with the new Camp Nou, which will have a new entertainment space. The Blaugrana club will promote a participatory process through an external company for the creation of a new permanent entertainment stand in the Blaugrana coliseum , according to information provided by Barça on Monday after the monthly meeting of the board of directors.

Laporta plans to approve this new format between June and July, and hopes to finalise the new animation space and its members between August and September. This process will be outsourced through the contribution of "a company with experience in animation, mediation and participation processes that will promote dialogue and the exchange of ideas, and that will specify the project, always under the auspices of FC Barcelona," according to the statement.
